Part 8 - Addendum

Some have questioned why I brought up Cruising with Wheels in Part 8 - Moving Forward.

The biggest reason was a snide comment they made on a post in the Sea Truthers FB group which lead to a PM from Kevin which I took as condoning cyber bullying. The original comment was, in my opinion, akin to victim blaming. Then Kevin doubled down in his PM to me.

I started this blog and facebook group to get to the truth. Bullying and snide comments do nothing to help. Maybe I'm wrong, but to me what Kevin did is exactly what a troll does.

Then you've got comments like this where someone is coming up with an outright lie that supposedly there's a GoFundMe set up by us. Once again, troll behavior.

I'm sorry that the fans of CWW have taken offense to this, but I'm entitled to my opinion, and I believe they were being part of the problem, not part of the solution. I believe my only mistake was singling them out because, to be honest, these aren't the worst comments we've had in the group. A more appropriate thing to do might have been to include them in a group with the trolls over at the Sea Cruisers Exposed fb group, Sea Cruisers - The Real Truth fb group, or the Sea Scammers Youtube channel. These people are far worse than CWW. Another thing I will apologize for is stooping down to that level. I started this trying to stick to the facts and now I've let emotion about how these people behave to dictate what I write in the blog. I'm sorry. I won't let it happen again. I'm starting to feel that I've done all I can and, for the most part, I've stuck to my principles. That being the case, this blog and the facebook group are coming to a close soon but I will try to avoid such mudslinging in the future.
